2005-2006 SEASON MAIN STAGE PERFORMANCES

CELEBRATE THE CLASSICS!
The Masque transforms literature and brings it to life!

We open our season in the Fall with one of the most beloved of all writers, Mark Twain, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Laugh with us as we follow Tom and his escapades fooling those meant to be fooled. From the banks of the Mississippi, we move to the forests of fantasy for our Holiday show, the exquisite Beauty and the Beast. We shall delve beneath the surfaces of seeming reality to find the goodness within. Next, as Winter settles in, we shall journey with Hans Christian Anderson as he enthralls us with the evocative underwater tale of The Little Mermaid. With the coming of Spring, we will turn to the most well-known and poignant love story of all time ... the enduring Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. These star-crossed young lovers have captured our minds and hearts down through the centuries. Our season concludes with a Summer frolic and a collection of bear stories as they sing and dance their way through grassy parks on a wonderful celebratory Teddy Bears' Picnic.
